In our Residential Program, DSP’s work varies based on the needs of the individuals.
You may work with a few individuals in one home or go between any of the 15 homes in our community.
You will work daily with individuals to provide ongoing support, guidance and role modeling and enable improvement in things like personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills and behavior.
We look for caring, enthusiastic staff that can encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and teach daily living skills.
Our training program is thorough and paid; it must be successfully completed to obtain employment with LCARC.
We pride ourselves in giving support to staff at all times, especially in the learning period.
